Northern Virginia
Project Types:
Roof, Siding & Gutter Replacement

Details:
- The Farmers' French Colonial home had become weathered over time, with stained siding and collapsed gutters diminishing its charm
- The family wanted to restore the home while preserving its classic French Colonial aesthetic
- Exterior Medics worked closely with the Farmers, particularly through several detailed planning sessions with senior product specialist Mark, to tailor the renovation for their vision
- Mark provided a wide range of material options, guiding the family through informed decisions rather than pushing a specific product
- Chosen roofing: GAF Woodland in Canterbury Black for its dimensional look and high-end durability
- Siding: James Hardie 8 1/4" smooth lap panels in Harris Cream for a clean, timeless finish
- Gabled accents were updated with cedar shingles to retain the home's traditional architectural features
- Trim details included a mix of James Hardie and white aluminum for balanced texture and durability
- Gutters were custom-measured and fitted on-site, ensuring a seamless appearance and proper drainage
- Michaele and her husband were thrilled with the outcome, describing it as "magazine worthy" and praising the professionalism and transparency throughout the process
- The successful transformation earned industry recognition and became one of Exterior Medics' standout award-winning projects
