The Specht Project

Details:

• The Specht family has lived in their home for 25 years and wanted to repair visible rot on the trim around windows and doors
• After hearing an Exterior Medics radio ad, Jim Specht reached out to begin what was expected to be a small project
• The initial plan included replacing five windows, one French door, and any visibly rotted trim
• Once the trim was removed, significant hidden damage was discovered in the windows, requiring a full replacement
• The scope expanded to 31 window replacements using ProVia Endure double-hung windows
• Additional upgrades included three ProVia Heritage fiberglass patio doors and full trim painting
• Replaced siding with Mastic Quest Dutch Lap in Colonial Yellow and installed 6" seamless aluminum gutters by Aleris Metals with EZ-Lock gutter screens
• The Spechts were impressed with the transformation and praised the project communication and professionalism
