Less than a year after starting with Exterior Medics, we made it official: Tony Calabro is our kind of person. We are so pleased to have him continue to grow and lead with us as the Production Director.
The Perfect Fit
When Tony joined us in October 2020, we knew he had the background to excel in production because he understood both the needs of the role and how it integrated into the rest of the Exterior Medics team. He came to us with significant experience working for architecture and remodeling companies, learning the production process as part of construction services, including design, sales, operations, and back-office. We respected his desire to become a specialist in production, and we liked his philosophy about customer service, which he describes as “5-star reviews across the board.”

Going The Extra Mile
Tony didn’t let a little thing like a pandemic get in the way, and he hit the ground running in the production department, immediately leading by example. He expertly took over projects from the sales department, planning and executing the delivery of a top-notch job. This included obtaining materials, coordinating with inspectors and the field teams, and interfacing with the clients to assure their satisfaction with every aspect. “I love when the team comes together to deliver on a job so that every step of the way, the client experience is superior,” says Tony.
Tony believes that Exterior Medics goes the extra mile, and he makes sure that he does precisely that. He takes the time to talk to clients about their needs, often learning about them as people. “When you treat your clients like you are providing services to your own family, they open up, and it’s important to respect that trust.” Tony follows up to celebrate milestones like new babies, and he is always looking to be helpful by providing referrals to trusted partners for other services.
When it comes to the needs of the Exterior Medics team, Tony also goes the extra mile. In March 2021, our Production Manager, Arash, had the opportunity to move to Ohio, and Tony immediately stepped up. He asked leadership what they needed from him to ensure the department continued to provide excellent services to our clients, and this was precisely the right attitude we were looking for in an interim Production Director. Tony stepped into the role, helping make a smooth transition and keep the department going at 100% quality and efficiency. We were so impressed with his performance that we made his position permanent.
Tony In A Nutshell
Tony loves the excitement of working with a team of experts and trusting the great people in each department to carry their weight. As a leader, he has made it a point to work with each team member to bring out the best in them while delivering consistent excellence across production. Tony loves the Exterior Medics family-style environment and says it feels like everyone has each other’s back. The “work hard, play hard” attitude is exhumed in everyone on the team.
Tony certainly plays hard; music, that is. He has five electric guitars and three bass guitars, and he also plays the piano. As an avid marksman, he does target, trap, and skeet shooting, and he has enjoyed going to the shooting range with other Exterior Medics team members. Scotch Whisky is also a favorite of his, and he’s traveled over Scotland to see the distilleries in person, collecting over 30 bottles along the way.

The Perfect Production Director
We love Tony’s enthusiasm, energy and attitude. We’ve watched him grow and blossom as a team member and a leader in his time with us, and we can’t wait to see what else he has to bring.
