When it comes to service with a smile, no one at Exterior Medics can beat our Sales Coordinator, Josie Hanna. An integral part of our support staff, Josie has steadily expanded her responsibilities and taken on new challenges with enthusiasm and energy. We have been so impressed with how far she’s come with the company, and we appreciate having her as part of the team.
Working Hard Goes A Long Way
Josie first worked for Exterior Medics as a temporary employee 5 years ago. She did such a great job that we asked her to join as a full-time administrative assistant. For the next two years, Josie performed clerical work with her trademark smile and sunny attitude, jumping right in to help wherever she was needed. When she took a break to pursue some education goals, she was missed. So, when she contacted us about rejoining the team, we were happy to offer her not only her old job but also some new opportunities. Josie came back as the Sales Coordinator, and she’s been doing great in that position ever since.
One of the things Josie likes most about her position is the variety. “I love coming to work to a new challenge every day. I never get bored having to do the same thing over and over again.” As Sales Coordinator, Josie works closely with the Sales Manager to support the sales team and integrate their work into the flow of the company. From qualifying leads to scheduling the sales team visits, and double-checking contracts and proposals for accuracy, Josie is a critical part of the team. With her experience and attention to detail, she has been an invaluable resource for training other team members in qualifying leads and helping support the sales team.

Self-Taught I.T. Expert
But Josie isn’t satisfied with just the work she does with sales. Her interest in supporting the company and learning new skills has led to her taking on an important role in the IT department. Josie is the administrator of some key software, including the company CRM program. She trains users, and she makes sure that new technology integrates with the existing infrastructure. She works closely with the IT manager to vet potential new software and supports that department as needed. Josie’s drive to contribute and continue to learn and challenge herself is an ever-expanding resource for Exterior Medics.

There's Never A Ceiling
Josie grew up in Northern Virginia and considers herself a local. When she isn’t at work, she loves to exercise and check out new places to try different foods. She doesn’t just try to eat locally. Josie is an avid traveler, who has been all over the world, getting to know new cultures, meeting the locals, and trying the cuisine. When driving, she likes to listen to true crime podcasts.
We love having Josie on the Exterior Medics team. Her spirit of cooperation, her initiative, and her great attitude are exactly the attributes we value in all our employees. We look forward to seeing Josie grow and develop while she continues to offer such important support to the rest of the team.
